I’ve decided to stop trying to figure it all out, and trust my inner compass for a change. I’m feeling more grounded than ever, and that’s creating some need for changes. It’s graduation time.

To me that means I’m finally stepping into my power. I’ve blocked and hidden it for so long, in order to be liked. I’m unplugging all the people who have plugged into me and who I’ve plugged into. I’m not judging, just allowing myself to be pulled in the direction I want to go with the people I want to be with.

As a Reiki Master, I’m still interested in healing, but now I am attracting only those who want to heal themselves. After all, nobody can help anybody heal unless that person truly wants to heal.

After spending two weeks in Africa, part of the time in the IDP (or refugee) camps in Northern Uganda over the summer, I know that I have to help get this story out and get the tools of information and communications technology into the hands of people who can help them the most.

I also know that it is important to help our young people learn that they do not have to buy into the world of limitations that our parents shared with us. That there is more to life than having the latest and greatest. And that maybe a post-consumerism approach will give us the greatest rewards.
