Didn't I just change the calendar?

It seems that way. I have hardly gotten the chance to explore June's photograph on my wall calendar. And tomorrow it's time to change it again.
It's hard to look back over a month that whizzed by that fast. I know it was full of big changes for me. Some I can't even talk about just yet.
Some of the things I rediscovered.
Dandelions are truly beautiful when they go to seed. Perfect pixie parachutes. They must be the inspiration for lace.
Quail are fun to watch. They scurry here and there, only to take their time enjoying pecking at the seeds that have fallen along the path. Maybe I need to scurry less, and watch quail more.
California oak trees provide an amazing and stunning combination of strength and beauty. You can see the struggle and unfolding growth in every convoluted twist and turn of their mighty boughs. They remind me of our spirits, constantly growing and expanding our exposure to the light from above. At the same time sinking their roots deep into the nurturing love of mother earth.
Walking in the moment is so much more beautiful than constantly thinking about what has been or might never be. It's only then that I see the deep curls in the moss, the twirling of the leaves, or hear the deep wisdom of mother earth as she sings to me along the way.
As quickly as it went by, June was a great month.
